    Hi all I have used Cornwall model ships to buy the mantua yacht from are there any other model suppliers like that out there

    Exactly as I expected an excellent model done by a skilled modeler very well done

    Not been on the water with her yet (she's been in the bath to check balast but fills the bath so no sailing I got the plans from Marine Modeling International I have got several plans from them I built the waverley using their plans I was planning on the duchess of Fife (I got the plans from them) when I have finished the sternwheeler.

    hi all i am totally new here so please forgive mistakes i have been building this ship for a long time and so am a long way on. she is loosely based on a Vic Smeed plan. i make aplologys in advance she is not upto the standard of work on here but i aim to learn ( also i am not really good at this internet stuff) once again i know its not up to the standard on here but i aim to learn.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
