Cant believe nearly 2 years have passed since I last updated, so many thing have been going on, not to mention hitting a full stop with the masts! Still, I have a new toy which will hopefully get me back here posting very soon.

Yes, me too. Because the Lady Nelson will be my next build ( Swift 1805 being my first) and I find your log very helpful.

I was wondering though, when I looked at the earier pictures , I saw the first planking done only half a side (from the middle to the stern/stem). Why was that? Weren't the planks long enough? Or is there another reason? Why not use 1 plank over the whole side (as I did on the Swift)?
