ChrisLBren Posted March 2, 2018 #1 Posted March 2, 2018 (edited) Hey Group Do I need one of these to work with my chisels on 1/4 inch thick pear stock or will a sharp one with elbow grease be sufficient. A mallet helps when making deeper and wider cuts than on almost any model - unnecessary for the fine work we do on models.
