Hi all

Still hard at work on my Spirit build but already thinking about the next build

After a discussion with the wife we decided to go away from nautical as the Spirit is my third

The three models we have come down to couldn't really be more different

They are all OcCre models and are the London Tram, the Barcelona Taxi and the rather large and complicated looking Jupiter Steam Train

Now I know this is a nautical site but I know a lot of you have built other models and I wondered who may have built these or very similar models

I am confident of building any of them but realise the Jupiter would be by far the most difficult, I think

So can anyone give me ideas

Thanks in advance

Mick

I've got the OcCre Stephenson's Rocket sitting in the cupboard waiting for me. I just loved the way she looked, so added it to the stash when I could pick it up at a favourable price.

Hi Mick, like Grant, I built George Stephenson's Rocket. If you are interested, the link to my built log is in my signature.

Have fun,

Hello Mick,

I just changed your topic title so it is clear to eveyone what it is you're asking.

You are aware that you can't post a non nautical build on this site?

Thanks for understanding.

Excellent build of what looks like a very interesting  -and colourful- subject.  And a very well presented build log.  Maybe some day I'll buy one as well.  In the meantime, I'll download it (with your permission of course)

No problem Jean-Pierre, you are welcome. As a matter of fact I am honoured that you appreciate my built.

John

I must admit I do like the Rocket and possibly would like to do it one day

But then I like the Santisimi Trinidad as well and after having a close look at it I may want to do that more than the Victory  :dancetl6:

But the next build is a bit of a trade off for something the wife fancies

We shall see

ok so I am also interested (down the road) in doing other builds besides nautical, the build you are talking about these are wood build kits correct, not kits to put on a train set and does anyone have any links to where you can purchase these items

thanks

That's odd. I just went back there using the link I provided and the prices are all there. They are included in the description alongside each model/kit - in pounds, euros, and US $. Might be worth having another look.
