Chesapeake Bay Box Stern Workboat by Mike Collier - FINISHED - Wye River Models

Started to build by installing the stem to the keelson, notch the transom for the chine and then installed the transom. Then installed the floor frames and attached the chines. I installed the bulkhead and first hull frame.

Next I installed the deck and started the planking. I finished the side planking.

I did the bottom cross planking and added the flooring. All going pretty well, I like building work boats. I really like the models from Wye River Models. You have to be careful and measure the drawings, I think they are a little off. I cut out the decking by the plans and it was to big, so I had to make my own deck plan to fit.

I know I’m resurrecting an old thread, but did you ever finish this model? I recently started building one and would love to see some more photos. Yours are much better than the ones provided in the instructions.
