I will try to build something looking like the Santa Maria using new edition of Artesania Latina kit. I have to say it is a very high quality kit. Even plywood looks like they polished it.

Dryfitting looks promising

The quality is so good, they even give me a pre bend false deck😂

what I suppose to do with those sails margins??🤔

But on the bright side, my plan is to give her some lights. It will be my first ever attempt to use LEDs. Already drilled holes in the bulkheads for the wires.

It looks like your off to a great start. It will be nice to see the lights on. As for the sails you will be making your own I am sure, lots of good info on that here. And their is some really great logs for this ship here.  I am not good with computers or spelling , but will follow along till I see the light .Lol.

Small update on the build. I attempted a weathering of the main deck. I might overdone it, but in real life doesn’t look bad. So it stays. The firs LED is in place.
The second deck is only dry fitted.

I like the flickering lights. Looks like lanterns. Very nice job.
