Kan nog 5000 duimkes bijzetten, maar  je hebt het wel begrepen denk ik.

Love it. So small, yet colourful.

Those leeboards indeed look very heavy for their hinges, yet on the other side they are made of wood, so their weight itself would mostly be carried by the water when deployed. In operation I also don't believe the righting forces would be that large considering the limited size of the vessel.

First, learn how to make rope.

Prepare the deadeyes.

Due to some errors in the attachment of the top deadeyes, they are twisted.

Fixed this way. Probably historically incorrect, but it looks better.

Small find.
Corel's 1970s drawings originated in Berlin in 1940.

Nice work Patrick. I've found twisting the dead eye one turn in the direction of the twist and redo the lanyards corrects this.

Michael D.

Thanks.

I tried twisting, but without success.

I think this is the reason the deadayes twist.

I used this method,  wrapped around each other.

instead of this method. Next to each other.

By the time I realized why, it was too late.

And I didn't feel like doing it all over again.
