Historically accurate stern lantern mounting for a 17th-century Dutch ship

Hello, gentlemen! I'm sure you know everything. I have a question. I'm trying to find a convincing mounting for the stern lantern on my Duyfken. What I see on the plans and on the modern replica seems to look a bit odd. There are plenty of Dutch 17th-century paintings showing ships with stern lanterns, but darn it, you can’t make out the details on them. Perhaps you can recall a painting with a clear mounting or share if you've tackled this problem yourselves?

Thanks, gentlemen! Yes, yes, I’ve seen the mounts on the modern Duyfken, Batavia, and even Victoria. There’s something similar drawn in my blueprints, and doubts are gnawing at me. I fully admit that my doubts might be unfounded. Patrick, thank you so much for the idea!  I’ll check the Het Scheepvaartmuseum catalog—I think they have some antique models there. I’ll try to see how it was done on those.
