Good luck on your journey with this build,

I had the time of my life  putting this boat together,  it has some pitfalls,  but turns out to be a fun model, I got the figures as well not to impressed but at 6 feet veiwing distance they look ok.

I will follow along, pulling up a chair.

Looks like a fun kit. I'll be looking in

Going to be a very interesting build. Like Terry and Bob going to look in and follow it closely. Can’t wait to see how you paint the “ Little People “.
Good luck on the river and watch out for small logs I ment basswood strips and the chop saw!

As always Best Rick (RVB)

CapnJack43 I have an older version of the same kit. I'll be starting the build and my first build log as soon as I get back home and will be watching your build very closely. There are a couple of difference between your newer version and mine. Wishing you the best of luck with your build.

Don't  throw  any cut offs away,  lol. I had just enough, Artesania Latina give you some to spare.  Just saying , save all small pieces for above doors and things.

I see your bottom hull panel is one piece compared to my older kit which has a two-piece hull bottom. And your hull bottom and transom are plywood where mine are Walnut. I decided to replace my pieces with plywood. Walnut is harder to work. Also I'm adding the motor unit for the paddlewheel. I'll have to make the motor mounts as they show in Artesania Latina's video. That's when I get back home in January.
