Are there any reference for different sail combinations? I have been looking at different paintings for ideas. It gives a comprehensive account of how the sailing ships worked, all of their maneuvers, different sail settings. To rig all sails correctly takes a lot of time. I am taking the approach to have only topsails, spanker and two jibs full. That way you can still see what is on deck and all those details.
