  1. Now that the balcony railing of the Pennsylvania is on I think I can call the stern done.
  2. Thank you for the comment/compliment. I do not get many comments on my on-line forums like I do on my Facebook groups, so, again, thanks!!
  3. The stern and quarter galleries on the Pennsylvania are almost done. Only the balcony railing is left.
  4. Carved the balcony supports and decorations between the lower stern windows. The piece on the hull with all the carvings on it for the other side will need to be redone. Somehow it got brushed off my work bench top onto the floor. No I did not steep on it. My grand daughter came into my shop to visit along with her new puppy. Need I say more?
  5. The translator works fine! If it will help, I have a scratch building you tube channel you can look at. @gregbaumgartner8257
  6. Gun ports are mostly done. Some adjustments on a few still needed, brindle ports still need to go in and 2 spar deck ports at the bow.
  7. Time to work on my least favorite part of the ship. The gun ports. I have most of them rough cut out. I will not do the spar deck gun ports until all the others are finished. Experience has taught me that if I cut them out the wales will break off constantly as I hold on to it to shape the lower deck ports. This is the Pennsylvania.
  8. I have included the bulkhead drawings of the Pennsylvania in 1/72 scale and placed one for the Constitution next to it to give you a size comparison. The bulkheads on the Penny are so big I had to make two sides to get them on a 8x11 sheet of paper. Also working on the masts.
