Hi Derek,
I have been shaping masts and yards that same way for each of my models. It works fine.

Thanks Ray,
I am going to check my copy AOS Diana.
Keep up the great work,

Hiu Ray,
Could have made a template from the plans to assist in cutting the gun ports?

Best to your wife. Glad to hear she is progressing. The build looks really good.

I do not care what the real thing looks like. The model is nicer.

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for the offer, I am sure I will take you up on it. I am a few years away from my own Victory. I am building the Snake and hope to build the Diana before going on to the Victory. In the mean time I am monitoring all of the Victory builds and taking lots of notes.

No problem Jerry. I appreciate the picture. I am going to need that tool when I build my Victory and your pix and Sids will be a great help when the time comes to make my own.
Thanks,

You are the best. Enjoy the trip.

You are doing a great job. Keep those updates coming. One question, what size were the fish hooks you used for the gunports?
Thanks,

I would think that part of the grating would have to be removed if you want to use the kit supplied rope which is what I would think they did back in the day.

Hi David,
Can you post a pix of the part of the tool that holds the wood in place? I want to make one for my own Victory build.
Thanks,

Thanks Jason. I am going to order wheels also.

Hi Anthony,
Just discovered your build. I will follow very closely. I have the kit and hope to build her one day. Where did you find and how can I get a copy of that article on the quarter galleries? I know I will need it when I work on my Connie.
Thanks,
Mort

Hi Jaison,
Fast question, did you use the wheel supplied with the kit? Your wheel looks a lot better than the kits.
Thanks,
