    Hi, Elijah!
Don't forget that when your baby brother gets bigger, he is going to start crawling and walking around. Make sure you have a safe place to store your model when it is finished and any other models and parts that you may have on hand when he gets to be of walking age!  Store your tools in a safe place, too!

Hello, this will be my build log of the Model Shipways Phantom New York Pilot Boat. Some things about myself: I got this kit for Christmas. I am thirteen and don't have a very high budget for tools or other things. My parents are divorced, so I will have to bring my kit back and forth. Fortunately, my papa (father) has a good amount of tools at his house. I do have some tools at my mama's (mother) house which I am currently at. My work space is also a little small, but it is a small boat . I will now start counting and sorting all the pieces. Have a Merry Christmas and I'll be back!

Here's my clutter that moves around and does just what it wants to do. It's called Sweet Pickels who is the shipyard Supervisor and Inspector of anything that looks or moves like loose wires or strip material, which becomes his prey.

Maybe you should head to HobbyZone

They make the most amazing workstation units that are interlinked with powerful magnets, so you can rearrange the modules as to how you like them. The quality is top rate, and they are beautifully designed. Here's my setup:

I am checking again with our mail service as it seems that several members in Australia have not received their issues yet.  When I spoke to them on Tuesday they said that the Australia issues are supposed to be delivered within 30 days of leaving NY.  They were shipped on 3-16 from NY so they should be delivered by now.  We are also tracking some missing issues for N. Ireland and several in the UK.

I would ask that any overseas members to send an email to info@thenauticalresearchguild.org to let us know the date when you receive/received this issue of the Journal.  Due to a mix up in Cuba, NY all but 3 or 4 non US members were mailed 2 issues of this Journal.  Please let us know if you get one or two copies also.  If you do not get a reply to your email to info@thenauticalresearchguild.org let Mary or me know with a PM here on MSW.  Several members seem to have a problem with receiving emails from the info@.... email, but get emails sent from Mary's personal email - please check your SPAM filter before sending a PM.

We are working to find out what has happened and we will make sure everybody gets their Journal.
