    Olive drab with a dark brown wash, then Drybrushed edges in red/brown and sponged on red brown. rust wash next

    Next. The tracks, red primer, then a red brown coat, followed by. Heavy enamel rust wash, then a silver Drybrush to bring up the worn metal parts, then a heavy dust wash

    Thanks mate, I’ll get the awnings on tomorrow and then do up the OD one. The hours of alignment have paid off so far. I watched Captain Nightshift do a video on a WW1 tank, follow that and you’ll replicate this easily enough.

    It’s all about layers, if you look at my Borodino, Graf Zepplin or Seydlitz builds it covers the rust and wear. I followed a U tube video from Captain Nightshift which is just excellent

    Anyways, I now have 4 WNW kits which I intend to build on here if I live long enough. There are 2 more ships in the stash which will be done soon as there is very little that is grabbing me, maybe another Dreadnought ? Lots of stories about some new RN kits to be released but I don’t believe it.

    Unfortunately for some bizarre reason shipping from the US to Australia is truely offensive. A $90 kit has the same amount for shipping pretty much. It does not make sense why it is to high short of blatant profiteering from the carrier companies, a Gotha has a $200 shipping fee!!
