    Nah it’s stuffed. Get yourself a set of jewellers mandrels, they are cheap and will last for ever. I use them all the time and they are 90% cheaper than the PE Rollers

    The mushroom ventilations, once I get the configuration correct I can paint and place. So much small detail required now!

    Nup, not happy, I’m going to remark and make the pale grey much lighter.

    I think Pontos and Infini give Flyhawk a run for their money as they probably a generation ahead of them. As to 3D, it’s a new art; I won’t get into it as I couldn’t draw anything and I’m happy for others to do the heavy lifting

    So I’ll take the dogs for a walk then start masking the whole deck again and all the dark blue bits.

    Painting the bow, white, dark red, red then pink. I need to finish off the bleed through, then completely re mask the whole thing

    I got rid of the rug in my study so finding stuff became a lot easier as the broom sweeps it all into one pile for searching, sot searching all the pile

    3D and PE are very different creatures, Flyhawk does great PE to a point but the complexity is somewhat a different level

    Centre deck blue. navy blue field blue medium blue light blue blue panzer filter looks really nice. Red and white stripes next on the bow

    I think that’s the thing, if you’re only going to build it once give it your best attempt before it gets parked on a shelf and never seen again.
