CNC wood carving

5-axis CNC 2000$ This price is very cheap, but mainly depends on its parts and processing accuracy. The industrial level is basically more than $10000 -

3D seaman takes a lot of time from drawing to production, and it's a huge project, which I will continue to increase, including officers, combat status, British, French... These themes are very many, but very fun 1: 64 or 72 percent will be gradually produced, which is very convenient, I haven't started WW1 and WW2 themes yet, which should take a little time. Now the general themes are 1:350 1/64 scale warships, super huge👍 -

Hello I agree with you. If you use pear wood or yellow poplar wood, it is the best. But there is also a major problem is the cost. The price of pear wood and boxwood will be much more expensive than that of cherry wood, especially boxwood. The material utilization rate is very low The second is processing. The density of pear wood and boxwood is much more expensive than cherry, so they can only be processed by CNC So that's what I'm thinking about. I hope the price won't be too expensive,- 59 replies

Hi Yves Thank you very much for your attention Now most young people are playing video games. There are fewer people making wooden sailboats. Part of the reason is that it's difficult to make. (of most model toys, wooden sailboats are the most difficult to make.) So I think how to reduce the difficulty of making the model so that more people can make a beautiful sailing boat, so that the industry can develop. Hope to have more excellent works Tom- 59 replies

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
