Congrats to this beautyful model.

A short info. Yesterday I got the message that my copy of the new colored NMM drawing is in the post. So I can start with the drawings for the POB very soon.
Is it a good idea only to mark the center line and some parallel lines at the bulkhead? At the center board I will mark the fore or after position of the bulkhead and also some parallel lines.
I think that every model builder likes to use another thickness of the plywood and prefers another scale for his model.
Chuck, you have much more experience in drawing plans for ship modelers. If this is not a good idea please let me know.

Aldo,
it's nice to see your progress. I am allways waiting for my new colored copy of the NMM. I hope to get it in a week or two.
-
Really nice planking job. It's looking great, Tony.
-
Dan, you made a great progress in the last few weeks. As allways it is a pleasure to follow your log.
-
Robbyn, the hull is looking very good. My kit arrived Friday, now I have to clean my shipyard, before I start

Really nice planking job, Jürgen

That's a really wonderful small model. I like it very much
-
Halloween Daniel, that's nice
Absolut brilliant stuff. On most models in bigger scales, you will not find these details.

Daniel,
before you change the deck layout of the fore plattform, have a look of the original drawing at the NMM site. I will have a look at my copy at the weekend.
-
-
Guy, the lower and upper apron have the same size as the lower and upper stem.
But don't be worried about this detail, after installing the hawse pieces, you will not see very much of it.

Fantastic pictures of a beautyful build
-
Aldo,
I got today a 500DPI scan of the ZAZ3235 drawing (~50MB). Keep your fingers crossed that I find some time at the weekend to solve my problems with the lines.

Really wonderful.
-
Fam,
there exist only one set of drawings at the NMM. The keel was laid down 1771. The launch was 1773.
-
Really wonderful progress, Paul
-
Aldo,
on my (also not really good) NMM copy is no distortion. There are frames, which are really close together. If you get your new NMM drawing you can see it. I send you a PM.

Really wonderful, Ilhan

Chris,
do you think that's possible to buy only the drawings and the lasercut bulkheads? Is it right, that the scale is 1/64?
If I look at your pictures I think that the design of your kit is a very good source to realize a very old dream of mine, a model of HMS Victory in her 1775-1785 appearance.

Did I understand you right, have you ordered a digital copy of the drawings? Where on there website is this possible?
I wanted to order a plan and digitize it at a copyshop to do the work in my cad system. But your way should be much easier and hopefully more accurate.
