  1. Nice selections to choose from here. I do alot of wood working and some of these will come in hand. One source I use is http://www.woodworkerssource.com/index.php
  2. Thanks for the suggestion. I agree, i'm not liking the rat lines so will have to take some time and fix them.
  3. I noticed on the thickness sander drum some screws. Do they not scratch your work piece? Also are there any height adjustments on the thickness sander?
  4. Last of the pics and my current progress. I'm not completly finished. Still have some rigging left and thinking about the Rat lines. Not liking how they are turning out.
  5. I'm posting my pictures again of my build on the San Fran 2. Previously I didn't get any comments which is fine because I know the build isn't one of the greatest, but this is more for a...what not to do. My wife likes the ship and that's all that counts.
  6. Looking good so far. I'm about complete with mine but will keep an eye on your log and provide whatever help I can.
  7. Thanks for all the suggestions! Looks like I need to go buy some beeswax.
  8. Hey that is a neat idea. I've got plenty of old power supplies and nonfunctional hard drives around.
  9. Thanks, and yes I ment the ends. Is there another method besides glue as it can sometimes get messy? I saw on Model Expo a tool that has a heat tip and not sure if that would be any good?
  10. I was fairly new and didn't have much time to read through every topic previously. Now that everything is gone I figured I would ask this question. How do you get the nice clean edges on frayed lines such as Rat lines? I also have fraying coming from blocks where the thread has been cut. If you have any suggestions to make it look cleaner I'm all ears.
