  1. Hello all,

Finally an update, it was long overdue.

The railings and the grating at the bow section are in place. They just need a little touching up and staining.

Now I can really see where I made the mistakes. Before placing the railings I wish I had thought of using a template to get the right angles/roundings like J. (JCT) did on his Half Moon.

But that is water under the bridge and something to keep in mind for future reference.

The rudder is also in place.

Tomorrow it is time to start shaping the masts and spars.

    Thanks for watching.

    Anja

    Hi, Anja!

I can't see attached pictures. What could be the problem?

  2. Bob,

Delftship is a good (because it's free and good :P) tool for modelling 3D hull. With some effort you can obtain any shape of a ship (and more), develope it to frames and other elements - but you will need any other vector graphics programme for comfortable work. It could be any CAD or Corel Draw, for example. As I have promised to Anja, I will show a short tutorial for preparing such drawings.

    Hi, Jaro!

Did you start the tutorial? If you did, please, can you put the link in this topic?

    Kind regards,

    Hrvoje

  3. Hello Elmir,

Don't worry, I'm no expert on sails either.

I found this article on Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bracera

It shows pictures of the sails used on the different types of Bracera's.

I'm sorry Wayne, but I think Andy is right.

    Take care,

    Anja

So we can agree Elmir's bracera is the lug rigged single mast bracera. :)

    I like this Wikipedia! ;)
