Picked up an old plastic dental mirror . Ya know the thing ya gag on when the dental people poke in your mouth with.

I find it great to look in on my model build areas where i can't get my eye to bend around.

What you'rs ?

New Bedford Whaleboat build. Kit by Model Shipways

I've been making progress on my model and according to the instruction booklet I should be painting it, at least parts of it.

Are acrylic's ok ? I did apply a sanding sealer. but I want to stain the untreated floor boards which are walnut.

Thanks

SOS, looks like you are building the Providence, with a dental mirror.

One of my favorite tools is a simple CA applicator I made with orthodontil wire (.010) twisted into a tiny loop and glued into a short dowel.  I can place minute amounts of CA exactly where I want them.

I can't do without my tweezers. I'd have to say would be my favorite hand tool. I have straight points, 45 degree, 90 degree self locking tweezers, tweezers for decals even tweezers I have stolen from the admiral that she used to use for her eyebrows. (shhhhh) There is nothing worse than not being able to pick up, place, pull, twist, grab and insert all those tiny parts.

Regards, Scott
