I saw this picture on a SIB blog and wondered if any one knows which ship or type of ship this is?  It just looks really cool and i may put it on my list of ships to build but I would like to research it a bit further.

I looked at the history and some other pictures I think your right.  I've put it on my list of ships to build.  I love the lateen sails stacked on top of each other I've never seen that before.  I don't know who the bottler was either but they certainly did an incredible job.  I believe this is a ship in a maritime museum in Germany.

There was a ship hydentical to the photo and was called "Great Harry".

It was a kit made from Mantua several years ago, but of course not in a bottle!

If you search with Google with "Great Harry ship" as keywords, you will find various images.

Frankly I don't know if it was a ship really existed or a partly fictious one.

It's an old interpretation of an carrack, perhaps the "Great Harry" or another ship of the fleet of king Henry.

and it doesnt look like it is in the bottle. i would say the bottle is standing in front of it? but i might just see ghosts..
