JerseyCity Frankie Posted April 5, 2017 #2 Posted April 5, 2017 The Brig Niagara had sweeps aboard for a season or two before discontinuing their inclusion. They were stored midships supported on each end between the masts and here are some photos I dug up on the internet. I was curious about sweeps too so I asked some Niagara crew members about the sweeps. They rolled their eyes and said they could only remember their being tested once.
