Schaye Goldcwaig Posted May 26, 2021 #1 Posted May 26, 2021 Hello I am currently building a Model Shipways Niagara.The kit that I have comes with two types of metal split rings, as 5/64” and 3/32”.Need help in how to know when to use each type (size) of split rings, like on the gun carronades, etc.Not seen any information on the plans and/or assembly instructions. Bob Cleek Posted May 27, 2021 #2 Posted May 27, 2021 Does counting the number of different sized rings and the number of different types of rings on the plans offer any clues? If you have the same number of (probably smaller) rings as you have gun tackle attachments, you'll know which ones to use on the gun tackles. Otherwise, I'd just give a call to Model Shipways and ask them. Somebody there can probably answer your question. mtaylor 1
