Jerry, I can't thank you enough for posting all this information.  This is my first major build and your photos are a gold mine for me.  Although the manual is very complete, as a nubie there is a lot that I was scratching my head on.  Your pictures cleared up most of it. I've already made a few errors but hopefully they will not be obvious at the end. Thanks once again.

Great Job on building the Bluejacket LV 112 kit.   One thing that is not correct, not your fault, is the Foghorn. The 112-has a single vertical Foghorn mounted on the Foghorn deckhouse.  The kit supplies a single four horn unit which is incorrect. I believe this was brought to their attention about 15 years ago when the USLM NANTUCKET-LV112 commissioned Bluejacket to build one for us.
You probably know the NANTUCKET Lightship in New Bedford , actually two are really no comparison to the 112.
The WLV 612 along with the WLV 613 ( Tripod Style mast) are both privately owned.  The Last two to serve on Nantucket Station.
They are 2 of 6 Sisters built for the USCG 1946-1952. All are 128’ in length. Whereas the 112 built in 1936 was the Largest Lightship built for the USLHS at 148’10”.
