Detail carvings and molding scrapers

In chapter 3 you show a carved/scraped piece below the stern windows, and later below and above the stern galleries windows.  Did you make the scraper (how?), or is it something available retail?

You must make a scraper in the usual way for the winnie model.

 

 

There are many topics on the forum that discuss this in detail.  I use thin brass sheet or a straight razor blade.  i also like to use a portion of hacksaw blade because its much more rigid.  You must file or cut the reverse profile into the edge .  
 

Everyone has their own best/comfortable way of doing this.  Here is how one Winnie builder did his.
