I vaguely remember watching a Marlboro car zip around the track in Zaandvoort, Holland in the 75-76 time frame. A handful of us aviators decided to go to a few F1 races and the Dutch Grand Prix was easy for us to go from our base in Germany. I think we went to the Nurburgring and decided it wasn't fun, because we saw so little of that race.

Thank you for sharing your Memories, Ken. I know the livery only from TV footage and photos, which may not be true to color. Finally the McLaren is done and is a bright spot in the shelf with it´s vivid colors and I can always blame the camera for getting it wrong

Thank you Mike, I have not followed F1 very closely, but the 80´s races, which I had seen, I liked a lot. Modern F1 is meh to me, but that´s only my personal view.
