Hi folks. Earlier this year (2024), my son-in-law and his brother, bought a full sized Axopar 37 Cross Cabin boat. As soon as I saw it, I suddenly got the urge to scratch build a miniature version of the boat as a surprise gift for him.

I built it to a scale of 1:64 which equated to a hull length of approximately 18 cms. I also detailed the interior of the boat (as can be witnessed by the removable superstructure).

The hull was carved from wood, while the superstructure is made from styrene. Das modelling clay was used to simulate the upholstery in the main cabin, below deck as well as the seating are in the bow.

I hope you like it!
