I was thinking and decided to add a model my dad finished when he was still with us. I don’t want to directly write his name, so using his short signature PeD instead. During his best times, he was top 2 modeller in the whole country. This one was considered his masterpiece.

 

The model itself was naturally enhanced by countless additional details and extensive research was done to get is as close to the real thing as possible.

 

May he be remembered!

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
