In the previous forums there was a thread for thread. I didn't see it reposted but interested in the links that where provided for purchasing of better quality thread. Or the types of threads those use for rigging and such.

I will make a start and post a link to the companies i buy my thread from. Unfortunately i don`t know if they are available from Webdealers outside Europe. They provide all kind of thread in all colors for ropewalking and single use:

Gutermann cotton thread is a good possibility to consider, as quality linen thread becomes harder to find.

Guttermann sell both a linen and polyester thread thats ideal for rigging in particualr ratlines - its been well discussed in MSF 1 over the years. These are much heavier than standard sewing threads by Gutterman. Beiges and Black are readily available. I have bought mine in Hobbeycraft in the UK.
