Tablesaw from Croatia?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!

Last week, while searching for a good table saw for my little workshow, i stumbled across this 7 year old german article from model ship builder Uwe M. Karl (maybe anyone knows him?) about this Tablesaw from a croatian precision engineer. It says, the saw is popular in the croation model building scene.

I tried to contact the author but dint get a response (yet).

Does anyone here know about this tablesaw and how to contact the builder of it?

Also, alternatively i'm looking at the Byrnes tablesaw, could anyone tell me whats the maximum cutting depth with the biggest saw blade on it?

Thank you!

Per the specs on Jim's site.. 15/16" using the 4" blade (23.8 mm using the 101.6mm blade).

I'm with Brian... you'll need a band saw for that thick of wood.  Er.. maybe...  that seems to be for the 3" blade.   You might go here:  http://www.byrnesmodelmachines.com/tablesaw1.html   Check it out and contact Jim.  He could tell you for certain.
