    Thanks Don
Well they are either slow fuses as we think, or maybe cans of worms

I would suggest going through others build logs and try to figure out which lines go where and why. Good luck!

Placed them on the decks between the guns but not directly central between them as i do not want it to look too uniform
Thanks again for the input guys

Thanks to everyone for their likes, remarks and input so far, it's much appreciated

Some more input needed here, I have made these two containers, (one for each build) and i am not sure what they are meant to represent as once again no mention of the name is made in the instructions
My thoughts are they are fuse containers for the touch holes on the cannons. Also i think that what they are should determine where they are placed on the deck
What do you guys think ?

Thanks Nick   Very helpful, shows me some of the parts supplied in my kit are not too far away from the real thing.

That's exactly what i was thinking they were.
And as there is only one per build then they should be placed where both gun crews can access them
    Thanks for your help, Appreciated

I'm very familiar with Daniels log i followed it on other forums before i joined MSW
I don't want to overload it with more stuff as there are still a lot of things to add, such as, cannon tools. cloth sacks, bowls. and hammocks

Hi Spyglass, thanks for the advice. Thanks to you and Mike I have the stern extensions repaired, and I beg of you to keep watching and correct me when needed. It is always a good feeling to know someone is watching your back. The rabbets are done already, although, I did not take a very good picture of them and they hard to see with the mdf. I don't plan on using pedestals for mounting, I'm not so sure how I am mounting her yet but I will keep you informed when I make a decision.
I have read about the gun strips and the fun involved with the installation of them, I really can't say that I'm looking forward to them.
I'll be following your log and probably stealing some ideas so I'll apologise for that now.

They certainly have my email Bob, because yes, it is part of the registration process. On balance it sounds like they are legit enough, just not very efficient! We'll know for sure in a few days.

Thanks for the easy counter site link, I've bookmarked it, that may prove very useful.

    Cheers,

    Hi Cobr@

This is a picture of the Gun equipment on the Victory, it might help.

I think you will find that they are, from left.
Water bucket, Sand bucket for placing a smouldering Linstock (prior to gunlock or as a backup) The linstock was a length of wood with a piece of rope attached. The charge carrier for carrying charge bags to the gun. And the ready box which held one or two charge bags in preparation.

Balls or other projectiles were either local to the gun or from a ball locker.

I hope I got that right.
    Nick

Hi Mike: Thanks for your comments and the welcome into the Swan club. I am glad you pointed out the stern extensions as they have been bothering me for sometime now. They have since been corrected and I will post pictures later. One question I do have though is what size lumber did you use for your anchor stock and what length? I am thinking of trying that also but would like to practice off boat first.
I will look into the TFFM books, although I have spent my allowance on some upgrades to my tools so they may have to wait for a bit. The NMM plans really are beautiful I first seen them in your build log and have since bought them and have them framed and hanging in the shipyard. I thought they were a pre-requisite to being part of the "club"
Thanks for your help and feel free to step in anytime, always appreciated.

Good morning David: Thanks for that, displaying shouldn't be too bad as she is only about 3 inches longer than the AVS. Your daughter must be one happy gal knowing that the Connie is moving in with her
