Trying to build a galleot. Does anybody knows what these round?/ eggshaped? objects on the top of the spars/yards are and what their function is?. Furthermore, the curvature of the spars/yards was "build in" or they were very flexible and it was due to the force of the wind? Thanks again.

Constructo Dos Amigos / Fair Rosemond - need instructions

Hi Mike. You are right, I agree. I have made some research about this ship and indeed her history goes from depressing to fascinating. Especially the Fair part, looks to me as a kind of Absolution from her previous sins . By the way, i have read that the Fair , almost certainly, had two extra guns on her, that nobody seems to know their caliber and their position on the ship. Have u heard anything about it? -

Just gave a pic at your build, and save it for further study!!!!....Just great!!! I also like the FaiRRosamund option. I was thinking to do the same, if and ever start it. Somehow i felt repelled from the "slave Ship" option. -

Hi everybody.....I am desperately looking for the instruction manual (not the plans) of the Constructo DosAmigos 1/50. Constructo (Diset) does not respond........Also, if someone have a building experience of this kit, I would be very grateful to ask for some advise. Many thanks to all of you for your time.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
