  6. Thank you Mark! As you can see I was able to make this ladder only the third attempt ((. Theoretically, I could have done this ladder of thin plastic, but I try to maintain the certain style of the model and I think the plastic ladder was be irrelevantly in this cause. Meanwhile, I continue the my build. The next stage - the making of handrails along the hull sides. I again used the photoetched parts with the wooden stanchions.

  8. Hi Bob! LENA is in 1/290 scale, but ATLANTIC is in scale of 1/600. I am showing on these pictures 2 methods of manufacturing the stanchions. Best Regards! Igor.

  11. Hi Carl and Bob! Yes, I have added the wooden stanchions which were made from the plank about 0,35x0,35 mm. Earlier I have made of brass wire stanchions 0.3 mm for Atlantis But in this project I want to try to make a wooden gunwale on the stanchions.
