  1. Oh, sorry! Proxxon is a mini drill. I use it for many works. I will try to take a photo in the coming days. Best Regards! Igor.
  2. Hi Piet! This boat is a great choice! I like it! Regarding the fabric ... I think it would be easier if I just send you a small piece of tissue in the letter. You can write your post address in PM and I'll send it to you. I have used this fabric a few times for my models: Best Regards! Igor.
  3. Hi Jeff! I admire to your fundamental approach to solving technical problems! Bravo! By the way, I often use the needle from the syringe when I need small diameter tubes with thin walls. I use my Proxxon to cut off a piece of the tube of the desired length. I am clamping the tube in Proxxon and I cut it with a scalpel. I process the pipe end with Proxxon also. Best Regards! Igor.
  4. Hi everione! Small update. Over the weekend, I have prepared the cloth for the manufacture of sails and the blanks for gaffs. Best Regards! Igor.
  5. Yes Ian, in this case, I used double-sided tape for fixing of the ship. Sometimes a kind of tangle thread scares me too, but in the end everything falls into place. )
  6. Hi Patrick! You made this day for me! I laughed for a long time ))) My alibi - the photos of my childhood )) But seriously, these small details are quite simple to manufacture/ Best Regards! Igor.
  7. Many thanks Piet! I think that to build a ship in a bottle is not a difficult task for you. In any case, I am ready to help if necessary. What kind of Dutch fishing boat are you talking about? Can I see the photo? Best REgards! Igor.
  8. Thank you Patrick and Carl! Carl, perhaps you unmasked me again and I'll be forced to take a photo where I stand on the deck of this ship (How would I like to be able to do it) ))
  9. Hi Patrick, Pete, Bob, Patrick, Mark, Mark and all my friends! Many thanks for your words of encouragement! I really appreciate your feedback and I am agitated! I am pleased that the results of my modest creativity bring pleasure to you too! Today I'll show you how I was installing a second mast ). Best Regards! Igor.
  10. Thank you Ian! Yes, the work with small details has some specifics )) The next stage - the masts and the standing rigging. So first foremast.
  11. Many thanks Pete, Crackers and all who pressed LIKE! )) The next step is making one more the small detail - the nose winch

  14. Hi everyones! I had a break in the shipbuilding for more than 3 months. Now, before I go back to my current projects, I decided to do another short mini-project for restoring of my skills. So, I begin as usual with building of the hull. Richard Lawler Schooner America Best Regards! Igor.
  15. Thank you Patrick! Now I need to make a stand, the continuation of the rocks outside of the bottle and, possibly, the lighthouse tower. But I'll do it after returning from vacation. Best Regards! Igor. P.S. It seems that the ship was called Concordia.
