Hi Dave, just join MSW and I am building the same Bluenose as you, regarding your question about Main rail (Caprail) get some tracing paper and trace over main rail on sheet 3 deck plan, you will see they are made up from three pieces use the kit wood 1/16 x 1/2 stock, turn the tracing paper over lay on wood and using a pencil follow your tracing and you will end up with a faint line then cut out shape, just remember what you trace will be the opposite side hope this helps, if you need more I could show you with pictures. Hi everyone, Just signed up to this great forum, I love to build models, can be any sort, airplanes, armour and of course wooden ships, have had a look around and there are a lot of brilliant ships being built. I am in the process of building the Model Shipways Bluenose 1921 Kit #2130 scale 1/64 will do a work in progress soon. Regards Richard
