You want the bulkheads faired quite abit. Go easy on them as not to take too much off.

You have done an excellent job on your cutter. Look forward to your next build

For a decent work lamp I use a base mounted flexible shaft type. I was wondering would LED lights be any good? I have never used them.

Not wood filler or putty. As mentioned before. Scrap wood and carpenters glue will do the trick. I have been there before.

Micro wax. I might have a look around for some. I'm willing to try anything. It's good to see others opinions. Cheers guys

Cheers Mark.
I will stay with the tried and tested bees wax from now on. As you said there might be a downside to candle wax. Thanks for the
Light bulb trick.

I just want to pop a question about which wax is best for rigging lines. Usually I make my own wax blocks out of old candles melted down into old ice cube trays. This wax seems to do the trick. But recently I have used bees wax. Is there any advice on which works better? Should I stay with the old melted down candles or continue using bees wax?

Was looking at Amati Titanic. I'm just not sure what scale would be the best.. I'm sure there is someone in our community that can help you.

Would it be possible for you to post a pic of this? Just so when it comes time to build I have an idea in my head. Thanks.

Yes, those lettering sets are the ones. You can measure and mark out very lightly with a pencil to get everything centered and lined up. I have had a look at that website and it is a well stocked store. And have heard great reviews about there service. I hope you have the same experience.

Your doing a fine job indeed. I like the look of your "Chopper"! Defiantly makes it easier to cut strips in bulk quantities. I'm jealous!

Copper transfers would be ideal. Surely ther must be some out there. After applying them a coat of clear gloss might aid in protecting them

Still following your build and still amazed. Real neat work. I don't mind a bit of the rigging either.

Thank you for sharing. I have built the King of the Mississippi as well. They look well done! Good work.

That is very shiney! Thank you for the video. I must invest in one of those air guns. I see there is a thread on here for them so I will poke around. Cheers.

Never heard of the turpentine trick. Sounds worth trying I think. I like the wax on lines as it also makes the lines look taught.
