    I'm ready to rig the boom and gaff. I'm glad I have blocks from other kits.

    I'm happy that I have a stash of leftover parts from other kits since most from this kit are unusable. 😜

    I'm trying to repair them but if I don't like the repair I'll make them new.

    I'm building the spanker boom and gaff and instructions recommend to drill the yokes while still in the frame but the holes split anyway. This kit has inferior wood.

    I finally got around to tying some more ratlines.

    Harley, You've got good eyes. I built that simulator for my grandson, but he grew tired of flying it, I never tire of flying (flew for 30 years in USMC and TWA)

    Doctor took the bandages off and gave me burn garments that have the fingers exposed!!! Hooray...I can tie knots again!

    Well, it turns out the bandaged hands and tying ratlines don't mix! I'll have to wait or search for a project I can do. 😠

    I finished all the shrouds. Now, I'll tackle the ratlines.

    I finished the starboard shrouds. My brain tells me I should put my build on hold until I get the bandages off my hands, but my heart pushes me on. As a result this model will not be as "crisp" as when I was healthy/ Oh well!

    They tell me It will take the best part of a year to heal my burned hands! Oh well....nobody said tying tiny knots would ever be easy. 😠
