Hi Frank, Welcome to MSW.

Hi Carlo, Welcome to the community. I have spent some time in Italy. I was in Aviano for a while then in Decimomannu on Sardinia. Really miss it. I'm going to have to check out your blog/Channel. I'm just starting out.

Hi Andrew, if you're close to Philly, maybe you'll consider visiting the Philadelphia Ship Model Society, we meet at the Independence Seaport Museum the first Thursday of every month, so we have a meeting this Thursday. Good Luck with your build. Also, if you're interested, you should consider participating in ModelCon onboard the Battleship NJ on August 6th. Bring a model on board to display with the rest of us, you'll can tour the ship for free. If any of that is interesting, let me know and I can provide additional information.
Joshua
JoshuaHi Joshua, I'm about an 1 hr and 40 min away from Philly. I would be interested in both.

Welcome aboard! Being a USN Submariner, I've been to Holy Loch, Scotland. If you run into problems with your model, just ask.
Bill
Thanks Bill, I will reach out if I run into issues.

I visited there from RAF Swanton Morley in '93, officially on business but mostly to get to the BX.😄
I hated that part of the BX was on RAF Lakenheath, another part on RAF Mildenhall and the last part on RAF Feltwell.

Hi Jfesterman, I'm currently working on the Harvey. My first wooden model. It really is a fun build so far. I'm up to the part where I start planking.

Welcome to MSW Andrew, I'm quite new here too but I'm getting really comfortable and enjoying the company. I'm a Royal Air Force vet so that's another thing we have in common as well as our experience of plastic kits. I hope you are finding working in wood as satisfying as I do.
The next thing for you to do is to jump right in and get a build log started. You will get a lot of support and encouragement and it's great fun.
E Z Breeze
Thanks for the welcome. I spent 3 years at RAF Lakenheath in East Anglia. Had a great time there.

Hi Andrew, Welcome aboard. Are you on the Steelers side of PA or the Eagles side?
Cheers
