Mike, thanks a lot for the welcome. In an answer to your questions, I am fine, thank you. I retired in 2018, and it feels like it was yesterday. After 30 years I thought it would hit me hard because I've been to so many retirement ceremonies over the years. But I realized something, if it were at the 20-year mark I would have felt it because at the 20-year mark you know deep inside you still have a lot of shelf life. On the flip side, I was getting tired towards the 30-year mark, and by then the Navy had gone through some ridiculous experiments that I had lost a handful of Sailors to them, and they could not be replaced. Anyway, I had already known by then I was also going to be 100% VA rated, so I wasn't going to stick around to 40 years for CAPT. I work now as a Government Contractor for the Air Force, lol as Ironic as that is, but have of our contracting team are retired Navy...Overall, I enjoy retirement. I am hailing from Poquoson, Virginia right next to Langley AFB where I work. Before retirement I lived in Chesapeake because I was stationed at all of the bases in the area, so going up and right wasn't too bad. I am looking at my build log that I exported yesterday but trying to figure out how to attach it where you can see everything instead of clicking on a file to open it up, so hopefully I'll be able to figure that out. Have fun and I look forward to corresponding with you.
