  1. Apologies for the delay in posting but their been a bereavement in the family.The photos are whate I was working on
  2. ]The repairs are finished, some some tidying up to do.So its back to some buildig alast The blok was done by drilling holes in some scrap, glueing pieces to the ends, painting it black, rigging the block, then glueing it to the underside of the deck Nothing has been glued yet.The cannon is to give the angle of the ladders,the barrels to see if they need moveing

Steve Garlands were situated around hatches and other features along the centre of the ship.They were also fitted to the bulwarks of the quarter and foredecks aswell as the side of the ship.In 1780 this was abolished on British ships by the Navy Board,to ensured that most of the weight born by the ship was as near to the centre as possible.   4. Hi Sherry I must apologize for not answering sooner,but yes I have posted a log of sorts.I will start to add to it soon, now that the damage has been repaired and I hope it comes out as good as yours. Tony
  5. This is an abridged version of my original log,there is some repairs needed to the sides. Dog wanted to play ball.
  6. A tool I find handy for tapering is a Stanley knife blade for cutting carpet.It is curved and you can either use as a scraper or as a blade for cutting. Tony current build MAYFLOWER
