    This evening my shipbuilder friend Laci showed me a half-build he was gifted from a fellow modeller. I was wowed by the detail ; as was he. I took some hasty pictures during Game of Thrones night and now I am posting a couple to the site. Next Sunday we meet again. Maybe I will be able to offer him some info on this build. I will certainly be trying to get photos of the lower gun deck. It seems to be a kit bash with a hull length around 3 ft. .

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
