Evening all, right - the 2nd KGL group was flat coated and are now waiting to harden.
So next on my little mission - I decided to to make some casualties including the mass that built up by the barn, I have made one who will be placed fallen back into the private.

My work flow is to work in areas like the front road/entrance and add figures there, then move into the orchard - make some trees then start to populate the orchard with French, and add some more (more French will need to be made/painted) to the roadway.

Indeed Ken, one of the fighters there in the 2nd KGL who I will also represent is called Rifleman Friedrich Lindau, he fought bravely during the defence even being shot in the head but still carried on.

Thank you kindly Alan, the trouble is when I put my largest magnifiers lens in - I can see the flaws in my painting (guess we all feel the same) but when they wil be viewed under normal conditions they are ok.

Great work OC
During my primary school (early 70s) we took one day trip by bus every year.
One of these trips went to the Waterloo museum.
When I look at the website of the Waterloo museum now, such a visit is much more exciting than 50 years ago 😉

Having played my fair share of wargames (including a few Napoleonic era battles) with miniatures, this is a fun thread to follow. A Waterloo game was one of the early wargames I purchased (well, it came with a copy of Strategy and Tactics magazine). We didn't have a lot of 'dead soldiers.' We just put a piece of a drinking straw on the stands to show reduced firepower.
Nice work, great details. Thanks for sharing.

Indeed Edward, there will be a pile up of dead near the barn entrance - from the heavy fire from the KGL inside the barn, and the others around the other sides of LHS.

You'll need a Regiment of dead a nd wounded French, due to the amount of troops they threw at the farm!
No doubt you will make them look excellent. 😉

Just a small update - as there will be quite a few dead and wondead over the dio, I have a few sorted out already - but I saw thses 3D British ones and couldn't resist getting them - they look realy crisp ans will fit in well once painted/weathered up.
