So I believe ratlines are complete
The picture is not coming out too good because of the lighting will post more when the lights better...

The four lower ratlines are complete......I have worked 48 hours and was only off 24 then worked another 48 so next update may take a bit longer......I did spread the pictures out over my workdays though lol

on 8/12/13 at 2:30 PM I put the last piece in place
I started this build august 2012
I had 2 months of no building due to hull planks being off the wrong size which meant there weren't enough of them
during the build I decided to add led lighting which added a lot off extra work
a few months ago I also had almost a 2 moth break because of an infection and allergic reactions
during this build I also lost a good friend who was also building this model
finishing the model at times was partially sad and frustrating but I was determined not to give up
now that she is finished I feel a load has lifted and although with every look I take I see the many mistakes I made I feel proud
here a few quick pictures, I will take some better pictures including with lights on for the gallery

Finally I am back to building on the GF
while I am slowly working on finishing the hull I have prepared a whole lot of the deck fittings
I have stored them in containers with the manual numbering on them so I can easily retrieve when needed
this weekend I spend mostly painting

Time in the shipyard has been at a premium these last 2 weeks. But we do have a small update as we cross the 900 hour mark into the build.
The foresheet bitts (with 'working' sheaves), foremast hoop and deck beams have been added up in the bow. In addition, the stove has reached it's final destination:

Next we'll be putting in the hanging and lodging knees and carlings.

Ok so I did the shrouds how it was recommended to me.....so with all the fun was about an hour per pair (alternating each side).
Here is proof lol since most will never see this part lol.....

when I am spray painting I am wearing eye nose and mouth protection, already have enough problems with allergies
