Macedonian got out of the house for a bit along with Pride and Constellation, being displayed at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum's Model Expo. She got a lot of attention for an unfinished hull. A lot of comments about her size, but most were about her construction. It seemed to surprise a lot of folks that she was scratch-built from common materials obtainable from most hardware/lumber stores.

I found a very good brass pipes in the network. different diameters, good brass (LS 63) of the pipe body thickness of 1 mm. These pipes will be very necessary for the manufacture of ventilation ducts and other parts. He spent almost 200 euros. However, I had to buy three times more than necessary. Diller sells pipe only 3 meters long! I had to buy more than is necessary.

you`re right, thats a very costy solution, Are there no Hobby shops in the near surroundings where you live ?
Are you able to buy from German web-shops for receiving through the postway ? If you wish I can give you some links for the web-shops I use.....

Along with the main work on the body of the device, prepare brass sheets for covering the underwater hull. I bought the usual paper guillotine but replaced the knife and a table on a solid carbon steel. The sheet thickness of 0.3 mm. Guillotine blades with new cutting very precisely and as a hot knife through butter.

so after a long break back to "work" .
To Tom - used wood is boxwood and steamed pear
To Nigel - No, I don´t.
To Greg - I had to instal the hanging knees before beams due colloring of inner bulwarks, but I like it.
To aviaamator - sorry for flaws. I agree that real part of deck is little bit simplified because the interior will not be visible.
Sorry for delay with reply.
As another part I chose the production of guns. Guns will be turned from brass, the problem is that turning is a completely new thing for me and so far I'm learning it. I've ruined so much material over and spent so much time that would be cheaper to buy finished guns. On the other side it is the great challange for me. I hope that in a few days I will be able to "show" some result. For now at least I prepared various eyelets and hooks.
