Hi,

I as wondering. Period ships used to have a kitchen, but was it fueled by coal?

And where they stored the fuel?

I'm looking for ideas to add to my ship but Google can't answer me.

Thanks,

Federico.

If it is a ship from the 16th century. Do not expect much from "the kitchen".

I think that wood was then used as fuel

The English/Americans used wood.  The French used wood or charcoal.  Coal probably wouldn't have been fuel for the kitchens.  We're they using the English style "stove" or the French style as that would be a factor.
