Billing boats model #403 Hjejlen

Hello to all, I have just been given a mouse-eaten partial kit of the Billing paddle wheeler Hjejlen. It has a large one page construction plan and a small 1 page build description.

I believe there was included in the original kit a multipage instruction manual.Does anyone have one that I could get a copy of? Billing boats website no longer has any info on this kit. Thanks

That kit might be older than internet :-) making it hard to find the instructions. My best tip is to write Billing Boats and ask them to look around in therr archive. Even if its not even digital, it should be fast work to copy and scan :-)

Or hope that someone on MSW has them stowed away somwhere.

No problem. I´ll do a "wanted" post in a Swedish Facebook group for model ship builders as well. Fingers crossed some old gentleman bought this kit as a boy and still have it

Ha Mike if you still have the paper work on the boat I was wondering if you could contact me. I am in the same situation.

I also have written instruction for Hjejlen (the old VHT kit). It is 5 typewritten pages in Danish but I can translate it is necessary. Just say the word.

Hello Lars, Thanks for your research, however I have managed to complete the model with all the photos and instructions I could find. It has turned out to be a very nice model. See attached photos

Thanks Yves, I had a lot of fun building this. I even found a lot of u-tube videos of the original boat still in service.
