Hi,

Completely ignoring all the advice to start small and work my way up I figured if I’m only going to build one model it might as well be a big one.  I’m working on a Caldercraft Victory kit.  I’ve lurked around the forum for years but joined so I could keep access to Pompey’s Victory build log.  That’s been my go-to resource.

It’s been slow going (six years and counting) but the hull is completed.  Probably going to have to halt things for a while as I expect to relocate from Korea shortly and I don’t see how I can ship a completed model.   I’ll work on the masts but won’t glue them in place.

I’m happy with the results so far.  I’m not trying for perfection. (I’m really happy with the name plate which is an actual copper ingot from Victory’s hull that I bought from the Royal Navy Museum Shop).

Tony
