Good afternoon –

I have a beautiful ship –

It is the Atlantic Refiner.   My father sailed on this, the Dealer the Trader and the EJ Henry, but the Refiner was his favorite ship. Information about this ship is below.

My father had this built.   It is in impeccable condition in a dust proof case.  Sadly, he passed away on July 19th.  I do not know what to do with this ship.  I have no place to keep it, but I won’t give it away or sell it. It was expensive.  Could anyone on this site provide information on what to do, how to sell, who may be interested if donated??

Your location would help, Pam, as different countries have different possibilities such as museums and sellers who market built models.

Pam,

Sorry, but it’s hard to help you without more information.  Who built the model?

To what scale was it built (this should be on the name plate).  Can you post some photos? And as Mark has posted, where is the model located?
