That’s amazing!  Your painting technique is so realistic.  How did you make the tarps?

Thank you!

Usually I use one layer of paper tissue and pva glue watered down. Wet it and try to pose to look realistic. Then painting with acrylic paint as a base but in most cases I prefer oil paints to get final result. Hope that will help ! Try it ! It’s really satisfying technique and not too complicated!

Your work is exceptional! I had planned on 3D printing some of the "upgrade" items for this kit too. You have certainly given me some very good ideas!

Working on details of the decks before I can glue masts permanently. Still way to go but I wanted to share progress. Not a lot left from the kit, everything is scratch build. 0F153849-5673-4455-8FC4-3DED2DBADDB4.thumb.jpeg.ff068fb3fd1f43b2c00ae311c0df3294.jpegE5119DEB-4CDA-40B0-BF6B-2A1C2FF8F4DD.thumb.jpeg.6bbd72c3faa8f24a7d77cb8d027ce01a.jpeg9547E0A1-F602-41E0-8F98-D346C1DCCD84.thumb.jpeg.dbdbc46e42bec2843da7f8e59794fec9.jpeg271F8F3C-8F5A-461E-AC6F-B572FB47F5F0.thumb.jpeg.c9f43d3bd2da5ecc6ac0639cff83003c.jpegEE7248FC-BC00-47DD-A784-23B61626A5BF.thumb.jpeg.640116102b71e5c9b31cec4c61500dc1.jpegA1F50C0D-9080-4191-8528-B8D701A702E5.thumb.jpeg.f6183eed609c3ec531925037b057e159.jpeg0B5627B7-55DE-4CC8-B1E7-A505DD8194A9.thumb.jpeg.bbb68fc67355aca282524e835e2eca80.jpeg
