After a second cup of go go juice  I placed them about were they go. Now I have to let the primer dry over night before finish coat, color to be determined later.

A special thanks to @Gabek,  he has come through for me again. Jumping ahead to the rigging section, I decoverd that parts are missing.  Deadeyes, blocks and the flag were missing, a few pieces for the deck as well.  Steve told me that he got this model a very long time ago, it was given to him by a freind,  it just sat in his closet till he gave it to me. Don't  know about the flag, but Deadeyes,  that's where buddy Gabe comes in. I called him, explain things, away  he go's 60 deadeye blocks ready  for pick up. Thanks so much Gabe.

I have the single blocks and a few doubles from the Scientific Bluenose model left over.

Also the thread for the rigging,  I am changing all of it. The larges one the kit has was .75 mm for shrouds,  then the smaller  black thread is .4mm it's not very good. Oh well I got a lot of thread in my stach box

The pilot house is just about done waiting for the paint to dry on the vent pipe and the whistle pipe, the rest is as good as it gonna get lol

The windows went the best, the doors and siding not so much, but It'll DO lol.

20251212_111707.thumb.jpg.f43cb8a3bb55249e2af6fe82abd6b6f4.jpg

I only have one American flag, and was told that it is the wrong flag, mine is not supposed to have that many stars. I will find one.

The pilot house grows on you the more you look at it, add the steps  and it will pass

Coming together nicely,  its a nice boat, I think it will go beside the Pegasus in the display case,  looks like there is room for one more model.

On to the steering wheel box and wheel, the guns. Thanks ever so much for following along,  also Gabe sent me a link for the plans for the Harriet Lane,  the are great, shows a lot of stuff and how to make it. It has a rudder section I didn't even know it existed  lol. Now it just a matter of getting down to business. Oh no, I have a bowsprit mast,  not fond of them, maybe later 😆 .

Talk to you all soon.

Made up the wheel box, I have to make up a rudder. I found one on a log that I will make similar. When I make it I'll tell who log , memory blank,  lol.20251212_151946.thumb.jpg.888b045eb40a8889565e7e0ec5e15adb.jpg

Install it, and got  Captain  Steve 's approval.  👌 20251212_152106.thumb.jpg.18022c0971008c410c19206fc453105b.jpg

On to the ship's boat. I painted  the cannons,  ship's  boat,  windlass, handrails  and ladders today.

A few minor changes have to be done on the hand rails,  no biggie  lol.

20251212_204940.thumb.jpg.f8c7c31ad7f28bb99ee44a67e2c30136.jpg

I have too  let all the paint dry over night, it is to tackie to rig the handrails for the Bridge. Captain  Steve got glued in place,

20251212_210847.thumb.jpg.8231ff7f477ebea0b5f9e2844017b524.jpg

He steer the boat in the right direction,  Frist thing he did call for ,an All Stop. Lol

The masts and gaff  are going to be made off ship.

The First Mate came by to take a look, wow she says  that is really coming along. It is gorgeous, I  told her I agree,  and someday  I would like to  build a  bigger scale of her, mostly because they have a better looking wheel house.  Lol.

She turn around and says ,   O hh , now I now why the rush, lol.

She caught me peeking at my next build lol,  do see the ratlines on that sucker lol. She just shook her head and walk away laughing.  I can hardly  wait to tackle the stern on that ship.  Then she screams down to the shipyard, when your Done the Wasa/Vasa , you can buy another ship.

Hold my beer,   Warp 10 lol.  These are great days in the ship yard,  Captain says no, ahead,  impulse power, the paddles are starting to fly off the boat, we need repairs.  Hurry up I say ,  it's Anchors away tomorrow,  you have till noon tomorrow  lol.

Thanks for looking in , hopefully your liking it  😊

I may have been up late last night, doing research, ;), I came across @Sexyauthor log and really like his idea for the  ships boats.20251213_012217.thumb.jpg.844491f5c33c3cd1c0d0459e443f69dd.jpg

I did something similar.

20251213_123213.thumb.jpg.2ad772c1d71715d6416452cdc6b26808.jpg

I needed to blackin the chains for the anchors and funnel .  @Gabek recommended  this AK blacking sultion,  it work really good. Thanks buddy,  again, I owe him coffee  for life, maybe even a few burgers  🍔 😉

20251213_160719.thumb.jpg.fc1daa4f84fdc4fe01af52e4e51f0f81.jpg

I just hung the boats temp   because  the will be in the way for rigging.

20251213_161018_resized.thumb.jpg.0843f35aa9535d975f23b3c0195c54df.jpg

Chains  need to be run, anchors need to be painted, but they are install almost. Have to come up with  something  for were the chains go in the deck

One side of the bridge handrails are install, they just need a second coat of white paint.  I was going to go with gold posts  and natural  thread, but I came across  @_SalD_ log and really liked his bridge handrails,  so I did the same , thanks for posting these logs , gentlemen.

I am going to try and make some companionways this should be fun.

Also the catheads and rudder need looking at  again,  @_SalD_  log  has very useful information  for this , as well as the plans from buddy @Gabek , thanks, buddy

So many people  helping me haveing the time of my life,  thanks everyone.
