My intentions were to build a glass case for the model, but the price soon started to sky-rocket, so I went down for a different approach to displaying the model. Hence, the whole "shored-up" theme.... All I have to do know is find some glass for the front and maybe glue a black and white chart to the back of the board? I'll see what I can do, like most of the guys on here, I'm ship building on strict budget! fnick Posted May 8, 2015 #215 Posted May 8, 2015 Hi Jonny Very nice indeed! Love the display approach. Instead of glass you could use perspex/acrylic. Easy to cut to size and lighter than glass.
